Local Bites: Prudential Center Farmers’ Market

Every Thursday, Sel de la Terre joins the farmers’ market at the Prudential Center. In the midst of the Back Bay hustle and bustle, you can pick up fresh salads and sandwiches (the Za’atar chicken salad is amazing!), breads, and produce from Chef Frank McClelland’s Apple Street Farm. Recently featured in Market Scene on Serious Eats, the Prudential Center Farmers’ Market was founded by Dave Gilson of The Herb Lyceum at Gilson’s. Dave also happens to be one of SDLT’s lovely purveyors – this week he is providing us with late summer herbs for the pesto of our risotto entree and lemon vsdlt-poster-at-fm-market1erbena honey for our burrata salad and salmon entree.

Stop by the Pru before the end of the market season on October 29th! For more farmers’ markets around Boston, check out this interactive map on Public Radio Kitchen by 90.0 WBUR.
